PROTOTYPING
Three model types were constructed for testing: the sash, a one-shoulder sling bag, and a two-shoulder holster.

The Sash
The sash was developed with fashion in mind. It is a sleek and stylish design that would accent a wardrobe. The pockets are built-in to the design allowing for a cohesive look while still having the benefits of carrying all of the items. It was designed with the idea of being worn as a visible or concealed accessory.

One-shoulder Sling
The one-shoulder proposal was designed to allow the user to put on and take off the bag quickly. The item containers were designed to be interchangeable depending on the item that the user wanted to carry for the day. This holster also would be worn as a fashion accessory or to be hidden underneath other clothing.

Two-shoulder Holster
This design is very similar to the one-shoulder holster concept but it has an second strap for secure placement of the holster. This idea uses the versatile item containers that clip onto the holster.

The study group on the whole was excited about the holster concept. Overall it was considered an innovative and "hip" idea. The group said that the one-sided holster did not feel secure. Since the items that would be kept in the holster are important, the holster should give the user a sense of security. Their feedback pointed the design in the direction of the two-sided holster.
