Project Summary
The design solution of a portable storage accessory for teenagers
addresses immediate
accessibility, change in activity, and fashion trends. The observations
and research has shown that a fashion driven device is desired.
Research has also shown that CD players, phones, beepers, money,
Metrocards, and small personal items need to be stored in a convenient
location for "on-the-go" teens of today. We are planning
to offer this product in a variety of colors relating to seasonal
trends in fashion. We see this product as a functional accessory
to the wardrobe when worn externally and capable of being concealed
when the time is appropriate. We are aiming to offer a more versatile,
fashion driven product than our competitors.
Measurements of Success
1. Provides comfortable, easily accessible storage location on body.
2. Accommodates most immediately used items in transit.
3. Allows for continuous wear in multiple environments as an accessory.
4. Looks cool! Fits the latest trends and fashions.
