Prototyping
1. Initial mass studies
modelled with insulation
foam. The rectangular version was chosen for robustness of shape.
2. Additional foam models determined proportion and feature placement.
Features include remote control, disk drive for importing of digital
sounds and images, dimpled lens ring for manual adjustment in
the dark, adequate cooling vents, slider for horizontal adjustment,
LCD screen to edit images locally, camera interface (below lens),
vertical positioning to project images on ceiling.
